This dish is one of my recipe, its simple and really delicious. it can never go wrong with the traditional flavor infuse inside and its a must try recipe, that will keep you leaking your fingers.

Bleached native rice recipe

Ingredients

2 Servings
(1 serving = 1 portion)
  • 2cups
    of rice
  • 1/2tbsp
    of tomatoe paste
  • 4cups
    of water
  • 1tbsp
    of locus beans(optional)
  • 1tbsp
    of grounded smoked prawn
  • 1tbsp
    of dried smoked crayfish
  • 2
    medium dried smoked catfish
  • 1/2cup
    of smoked dried prawn
  • 1
    medium onions
  • 1/4cup
    o bleached palmoil
  • 1/2tsp
    of blackpepper or 1 diced habanero pepper
  • 2
    seasonsing cubes
  • salt to taste
  • A sprinkle of diced scent leaves

How to make Bleached native rice

  1. Pour in your bleached oil into a clean pot on medium low heat

  2. Add in your diced onions, locus beans, crayfish stir and allow to fry till the onions is translucent.

  3. Then add in your gino paste and allow to fry for sometime before adding in your grounded prawn, smoked fish, pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.

  4. Add in your water, then cover the pot and let the mixture come to a rolling boil

  5. Go ahead to add in your seasoning cubes, salt to taste, give it a taste and adjust accordingly

  6. Then add the washed rice and cook for 15 minutes before adding in your sardines. cover and allow to cook for 20 minutes till the water is almost dried up then add in your scent leaves and allow to cook till the water is almost dried

  7. Take it out and serve with chilled fruit juice.
