Delicious hotel-style chicken kababs made with a blend of spices and deep-fried to perfection.

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 kabab)
  • 1kg
    chicken, medium size pieces
  • 2tbsp
    red chilli powder
  • 1tbsp
    haldi powder
  • 1tbsp
    salt powder
  • 1tbsp
    garam masala powder
  • 1tbsp
    chicken masala powder
  • 2piece
    lemon, juiced
  • 1pinch
    red tandoori colour
  • 3tbsp
    cornflour
  • 1piece
    egg

How to make Chicken Kabab

  1. Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly.

  2. Marinate the chicken with red chilli powder, haldi powder, salt, chicken masala, lemon juice, a pinch of red tandoori colour, cornflour, and egg. Mix well.

  3. Let the marinated chicken sit for at least 1 hour.

  4. Heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying.

  5. Deep fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy hotel-style chicken kababs at home.

  7. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander,onion and lemon and some fried curry leaves

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the oil is hot enough before adding the chicken to avoid it becoming greasy.

  2. You can adjust the amount of red chilli powder according to your spice preference.
