- 8Chicken Drumsticks
- 1/2tbspBlack Pepper Powder
- 30gUnsalted Butter
- 1Onion (Sliced)
- 1tbspGarlic (chopped)
- 1/2tspNutmeg powder
- 1/2tbspSalt (as per taste)
- 1tbspBlack Pepper Powder
- 2tbspLemon Juice
Wash the chicken drumsticks, pat them dry, and create slits.
Mix chicken drumsticks with salt, black pepper powder, and oil in a bowl. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Combine milk with oregano, parsley, nutmeg powder, salt and black pepper powder. Set the mixture aside.
Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add marinated chicken to the pan. Sear them until they are browned from all sides. Transfer them to a plate and set them aside.
In the same pan, add the sliced onions and cook until they become translucent. Then add the chopped garlic to the pan and saute until fragrant.
Pour in the milk mixture, bringing it to a boil.
Return the seared chicken to the pan, and mix well.
Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked, and the gravy thicken to coat the chicken.
Add lemon juice and mix well. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
Garnish the chicken with fresh parsley or coriander before serving it hot.
