How to make Easy Pav Bhaji (Mumbai Street Food)

Boil the Vegetables

  1. Step 1

    In a pressure cooker, add green peas, cauliflower, and carrots with 1 cup of water. Pressure cook for 1 whistle, then let the pressure release naturally. You can boil the potatoes along with the vegetables if preferred.

Prepare the Bhaji

    Heat 1 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai or pan over medium heat.

    Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes. If using fresh tomatoes, add ¼ cup water and cook until softened.

    Add chopped capsicum and cook for 1 minute.
