How to make Bhagar Khichdi (Variche Tandul Khichdi)

  1. Step 1

    Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.

    Add soaked barnyard millet and mix well.

    Add shallow-fried potatoes and sendha namak. Sauté for a minute.

  4. Step 4

    Pour in 2.5 cups of water, cover and cook on low flame for about 10–12 minutes or until the millet is soft and water is absorbed.
