A delicious and easy-to-make stir-fry featuring crab sticks, vermicelli, and vegetables, seasoned with a touch of Shaoxing wine and soy sauce.

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 portion)
  • 3piece
    eggs
  • 50g
    vermicelli
  • 50g
    crab sticks
  • 50g
    shredded spring onion
  • 30g
    shredded carrots

Seasoning

  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1/2tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1tsp
    Shaoxing wine
  • 1tsp
    light soy sauce
  • cooking oil
  • white pepper

How to make Osmanthus fried wings (桂花翅)

  1. Soak vermicelli in warm water until softened, then wash and cut into short lengths.

  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs until thoroughly combined. Tear the crab sticks into strips. Shred the spring onions and carrots.

  3. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and add all the seasoning. Whisk until all the ingredients are well combined.

  4. Pour some cooking oil into a wok and heat to 60-70% over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture slowly into the wok and stir to disperse. Let the eggs spread out and stir-fry the mixture until dry and cooked.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the vermicelli is well softened before cutting to avoid clumping.

  2. Adjust the seasoning to taste if needed.
