  • 1tbsp
    desi ghee
  • 1/2tbsp
    desi ghee
  • 200g
    makhana
  • 1tsp
    rock salt
  • 1/2tsp
    black pepper powder
  • 1tsp
    chat masala
  • 1tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp
    degi mirch
  • 1tsp
    pav bhaji masala
  • 20piece
    curry leaves

How to make Healthy Masala Makhana

  1. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a heavy-bottom pan.

  2. Add curry leaves and all the spices to the pan.

  3. Add the makhana and cook on low heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously.

  4. Add 0.5 tbsp ghee around the sides of the pan and keep stirring continuously for another 5 minutes or until the makhana are crispy and can break easily with your fingers.

  5. Cool and store in an airtight container.
