A delicious and fresh pasta dish with homemade pesto and cherry tomatoes.

- 400gpasta (fusilli, penne, or your choice)
- 1cupfresh basil leaves
- 1/2cupgrated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3cuppine nuts
- 2clovegarlic
- 1/2cupolive oil
- 1cupcherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper
How to make Pesto Pasta with Cherry Tomatoes
Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
In a food processor, blend the basil, Parmesan, pine nuts, and garlic. Gradually add olive oil until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Toss the pasta with the pesto sauce. Add cherry tomatoes and mix well.
Garnish with extra Parmesan and fresh basil, if desired.
Tips & Tricks
For a creamier pesto, add a tablespoon of heavy cream or a bit more olive oil.
Toast the pine nuts for a richer flavor.
