  1. Peel the Potatoes, cut in half and cook till soft but still firm. Drain the water and spice your potatoes with favorite spice. Set a side

  1. Light up your fire for the kettle BBQ, about 25 briquettes will be significant

    1. Cut the chicken between the breasts to form a "flattie", I use sharp scissors.
  2. Spice the chicken generously with the desired spice, both sides.

  3. Once your briquettes are ready (normally when its has turned completely grey). Place the chicken on the grill on top of the piece of foil. Turn up the foil pieces so that it forms a "bowl", closing the chicken completely inside of the foil. Make sure your kettle BBQ lid's air vent is open before closing the chicken.

  4. After 30 minutes, remove the chicken from the foil, placing the chicken, bone side first directly on the grill. Also now is the time to add the potatoes next the chicken. And close the kettle BBQ with lid.

  5. 15 minutes later, turn the chicken and potatoes and BBQ for a further 15min, with the lid on

  6. After the hour is up, the chicken and potatoes are cooked and should be golden brown in color.
