Ingredients

  • 500g
    Ground Venison
  • 1
    Big Potato, finely grated
  • 1
    Big Onion, coarsely grated
  • 1
    Chili, finely chopped
  • Handful finely chopped Coriander
  • 1tbsp
    Spicy BBQ Spice
  • 1/2tsp
    Dry Garlic Powder
  • 160mL
    Breadcrumbs
  • 1
    Egg, beaten
  • 1tbsp
    Oil, to grease Pot

How to make Instant Pot Spicy Venison Meatballs

  1. Lightly grease the bottom of the pot with Oil

  2. In a large mixing bowl grated the Potato and Onion. Add ground Venison, Breadcrumbs, Spices, chopped Coriander and Egg, mix with your hand until well combined. Roll medium size meatballs and place in pot. Add tomato sauce, if you not using a sauce add 120ml water. Close the Instant Pot and set the steam release valve to close position. Set the cooking time for 15 minutes, medium pressure. Once done cooking, leave the release valve until pressure has release naturally

Tips & Tricks

  1. This recipe works well with Ground Beef, cooking time will be 10min in the Instant Pot

  2. If you don't have breadcrumbs on hand, left over Rusk crumbs also works beautifully with this recipe

  3. Not a big fan of coriander, well chopped parsley is a great alternative
