Ingredients

Cake

  • 125g
    salted butter
  • 125g
    castor sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1tsp
    STAR BRAND vanilla flavour
  • 125g
    all purpose flour
  • 1tsp
    baking powder
  • 3tbsp
    full cream milk
  • A few drops of STAR BRAND rose pink colour

Frosting

  • 300g
    fresh cream
  • 2tsp
    STAR BRAND rose flavour
  • A few drops of STAR BRAND fortuna red colour

Filling

  • 1can
    lychee with syrup

How to make Rose Lychee Cake

  1. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in eggs one by one and beat until incorporated.

  2. Add vanilla flavor and mix until well incorporated.

  3. Add flour and baking powder, followed by full cream milk.

  4. Add a few drops of pink food coloring until you achieve the desired color.

  5. Prepare a 5-inch baking tin and weigh 175g of batter in each tin. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 180°C.

  6. Once cooked, leave the cakes to cool.

  7. For the frosting, beat fresh cream until slightly thick.

  8. Add STAR BRAND rose flavor and a few drops of STAR BRAND fortuna red color. Mix until the cream is stiff.

  9. Layer the cake with lychee syrup, lychee fruits, and cream. Cover the whole cake with fresh cream and decorate according to your creativity.
