A healthy and nutritious chia seed pudding made with low-fat milk, chia seeds, almonds, and saffron. Perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

1 Servings
(1 serving = 1 bowl)
  • 250mL
    low-fat milk
  • 2tbsp
    chia seeds
  • 4piece
    almonds

How to make Chia Seed Pudding

  1. In a bowl, combine the low-fat milk and chia seeds.

  2. Stir well to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed.

  3. Add rock sugar or sweetener of choice and mix well.

  4. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator to allow the chia seeds to swell and form a pudding-like consistency.

  5. Before serving, garnish with chopped almonds and a few strands of saffron.

  6. You can add fruits of your choice to increase its nutritional value.

  1. For a thicker consistency, let the chia seed mixture sit overnight in the refrigerator.
