This recipe can be used as entrée, canape's, cocktail or finger food. It can be made week ahead of the party and stored for later use.
- 3cupboiled chickpeas
- 1/2cupparsley leaves
- 1medium onion chopped
- 1green chili according to taste
- 2tbspchickpea flour/corn flour
- 2tspcoriander powder
- 2tspmango powder
- 2T coriander leaves
- 2T extra flour for coating
Soak chickpeas overnight & boil until soft. Strain chickpeas.
Blend Chick peas, parsley, onion, ginger, chili into paste
Mix all the spices and chickpea flour into the mixture.
Make the shape like kebab
Bake, shallow fry or deep fry according to your choice
Tips & Tricks
Strain chickpeas thoroughly, ,watery chickpeas makes the paste too soft, which makes it hard to handle & fry
Add chickpea flour instead of corn flour to make it gluten free
Use a corn flour or chickpea flour to coat if kebab splatter while frying.
Chickpeas are dry in nature so shallow frying makes it tastier snack.
