A flavorful and aromatic roasted chicken with lemon, garlic, and fresh herbs.
Ingredients

- 1piecewhole chicken (about 4 lbs)
- 4clovegarlic, minced
- 2piecelemons, sliced
- 1tbspolive oil
- 1tspsalt
- 1/2tspblack pepper
- 4sprigsfresh rosemary
- 4sprigsfresh thyme
How to make Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Rub the chicken inside and out with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, rosemary, and thyme.
Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crispy skin, pat the chicken dry with paper towels before rubbing with olive oil.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked to the correct temperature.
