How to make Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings with Honey Lemon Glaze
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Split the wings into drumettes and wingettes, discarding the wing tips if desired.
Pat the wings thoroughly dry with a paper towel to remove all moisture for maximum crispiness.
Place the wings in a large mixing bowl. Add vegetable oil, Poussin seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the wings evenly in the marinade.
Let the wings rest for at least 30 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.
Prepare the Honey Lemon Glaze
In a small pan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.
Add the hot sauce, honey, lemon juice, and Poussin seasoning. Stir well to combine.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
Place the crispy wings in a large bowl and pour the honey lemon glaze over them. Toss well to coat each wing.
Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions for garnish.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
Adjust spiciness by using more or less hot sauce depending on your heat preference.
If reheating, use the air fryer at 180°C for 3-5 minutes to keep them crispy.
