This quick and easy recipe delivers perfectly crispy chicken wings in under 30 minutes with a tangy, sweet, and spicy glaze. Using an air fryer ensures the wings are crispy on the outside while remaining juicy inside.

Ingredients

(1 serving = 250g of chicken wings)

For the Chicken Wings

  • 1kg
    Kienyeji (pastured) chicken wings
  • 2tsp
    Poussin seasoning
  • 2tsp
    vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Honey Lemon Glaze

  • 2tsp
    butter
  • 1/3cup
    hot sauce
  • 1/4cup
    honey
  • 1piece
    lemon, juiced
  • 1tsp
    Poussin seasoning

Optional Garnish

  • Sesame seeds
  • Sliced spring onions

How to make Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings with Honey Lemon Glaze

Prepare the Chicken Wings

  1. Split the wings into drumettes and wingettes, discarding the wing tips if desired.

  2. Pat the wings thoroughly dry with a paper towel to remove all moisture for maximum crispiness.

  3. Place the wings in a large mixing bowl. Add vegetable oil, Poussin seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the wings evenly in the marinade.

  4. Let the wings rest for at least 30 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.

  1. In a small pan over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

  2. Add the hot sauce, honey, lemon juice, and Poussin seasoning. Stir well to combine.
