Khorovats (Armenian barbecue) is the centerpiece of gatherings, while dolma, ghapama (stuffed pumpkin), and spas (yogurt soup) are beloved home dishes. The cuisine is more dairy-forward than its western counterpart, with matsoni yogurt and various cheeses playing central roles.
