- Coconut Vinegar (to mix to a paste)1tbsp
- Rice Flour or Semolina (to roll the fish in)5tbsp
- Oil (for deep frying)250mL

How to make Ma's Fried Fish
- Step 1
Wash and dry fish. Make a paste (masala) with the chilli powder, turmeric, salt and coconut vinegar. Rub the masala all over the fish and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Step 2
Roll the marinated fish in rice flour or semolina.
- Step 3
Deep fry the fish in smoking hot oil until crisp and golden brown.(3 to 4 minutes for each batch)
