How to make Pickled Chicken

  1. Step 1

Wash and dry the chicken, then cut it into pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a large pot, adding 1 cup of vinegar, the water, and a pinch of salt. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Step 2

Remove the chicken from the vinegar water and let it drain well.

  3. Step 3

In a medium-sized pot or casserole, heat a little olive oil and brown the chicken pieces along with the sliced onion. Add the bay leaves, peeled whole garlic cloves, diced carrots, peppercorns, and rosemary.

  4. Step 4

Pour in the remaining cup of white wine vinegar, the white wine, and the olive oil. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
