How to make Mango and Strawberry Dessert

  1. Step 1

Prepare the vanilla flan according to the instructions on the package. Pour it into a rectangular mold and refrigerate until set and chilled.

  2. Step 2

Hydrate the unflavored gelatin sheets in a small bowl with a little cold water and let them sit for 3 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Drain the gelatin sheets and place them in a saucepan with just enough water to cover them. Heat over low heat until dissolved, but do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. Step 4

Peel the mango, cut it into cubes, and blend it with the sugar. Add the dissolved gelatin to the blender, blend again, and set aside.

  5. Step 5

Whip the heavy cream until it reaches a soft peak stage. Gently fold it into the mango and sugar mixture, using smooth, delicate movements to fully combine.

  6. Step 6

Wash and slice the strawberries into medium-sized pieces.

  7. Step 7

Remove the mold with the vanilla flan from the refrigerator and spread the mango cream evenly over the flan. Return the mold to the refrigerator to chill again.

  8. Step 8

Once the dessert is set, remove it from the refrigerator, cut it into squares, and serve on individual plates.
