How to make Brazilian Fudge

  1. Step 1

Line a wooden board or marble surface with parchment paper to make it easier to shape the mixture later.

  2. Step 2

In a saucepan, add the semi-sweet chocolate cut into small pieces, the butter at room temperature, and the condensed milk.

  3. Step 3

Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate melts and combines with the butter and condensed milk.

  4. Step 4

Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chopped walnuts, mixing well.

  5. Step 5

Let the mixture cool slightly, then pour it onto the parchment paper. Smooth out the surface and adjust to the desired thickness.

  6. Step 6

Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.

  7. Step 7

Remove from the refrigerator and cut the fudge into bars about 5 cm (2 inches) wide.
