Juicy drumsticks marinated in spices and yogurt, grilled to smoky perfection. A flavourful, memorable treat.

(1 serving = 2 drumsticks.)
  • 8piece
    Chicken drumsticks
  • 2tbsp
    Ginger-garlic paste:
  • 1tsp
    Red chili powder:
  • 1tsp
    Garam masala:
  • 1/2tsp
    Turmeric powder:
  • 2tbsp
    Lemon juice:
  • Salt: to taste
  • 2tbsp
    Mustard oil or vegetable oil:
  • 1tsp
    Optional: Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves):


  1. Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, lemon juice, salt, and oil to make a marinade.

  2. Marinate Drumsticks: Make slight incisions on the drumsticks for better absorption. Marinate the chicken drumsticks in the mixture for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. Preheat Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Grill Drumsticks: Place the marinated drumsticks on the grill. Cook, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have nice char marks, about 15-20 minutes.

  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with mint chutney or your favorite dip.
