A delicious and simple fish dish featuring lightly dusted Snoek, seasoned with rock salt and a lemon drizzle.

Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 piece of fish)
  • 1piece
    medium Snoek
  • 2cups
    cake flour
  • 10mL
    fish spice
  • 1cup
    oil
  • 1piece
    lemon
  • 1dash
    rock salt

How to make Lightly Dusted Snoek with Rock Salt and Lemon Drizzle

  1. Cut the fish into pieces.

  2. Mix cake flour with fish spice.

  3. Heat the oil in a pan.

  4. Coat fish pieces with the flour mixture.

  5. Fry the fish pieces until golden brown. Do not deep fry, just shallow fry.

  6. Drizzle with rock salt and fresh lemon juice.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Do not use egg as it makes the oil foamy.

  2. Serve with salad or fries and a mayo of your choice.
