A flavorful and easy-to-make chickpea curry with aromatic spices.

(1 serving = approximately 140 grams)
- 2tbspoil
- 1/2tspzeera
- 1pieceonion, small, sliced
- 1tspgarlic and ginger paste
- 1tspred chilli powder
- 1/2tspcoriander powder
- 1/4tspturmeric powder
- 340gchickpeas, boiled
- 1piecetomato, cubed
- 1piecegreen chilli, chopped
- 1pinchgaram masala
- 1tbspcoriander leaves, chopped
How to make Simple Chickpea Curry
Heat oil in a pan and add zeera to sputter.
Add onion and fry until translucent.
Add garlic and ginger paste, fry for a minute.
Add all spices, mix well.
Add chickpeas, salt, and tomato, fry for a minute.
Add a little water for the curry and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
Add green chilli, sprinkle garam masala, and garnish with coriander leaves.
Tips & Tricks
If you are watching your weight, you can have 140 grams of curry with two 30-gram rotis per meal.
