Ingredients

  • 1tsp
    zeera
  • 1tsp
    coriander seeds
  • 1piece
    onion
  • 1tbsp
    garlic ginger paste
  • 500g
    prawns
  • 1tsp
    red chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp
    turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2cup
    yogurt
  • 1/2tsp
    garam masala
  • 1tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2tbsp
    coriander leaves

How to make Easy Prawns Masala

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add zeera and coriander seeds. Allow them to sputter.

  2. Add the onion and fry until golden brown.

  3. Stir in the garlic ginger paste and mix well.

  4. Add the prawns and fry for a minute while adding red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.

  5. Pour in the yogurt and fry for another minute.

  6. Cover the pan and cook on a slow flame until the prawns are tender.

  7. Sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice over the prawns.

  8. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
