For chicken fajita filling

  • 4tbsp
    oil
  • 1/2tbsp
    ginger garlic paste
  • 1piece
    onion, sliced
  • 1/2piece
    green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2piece
    yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2piece
    red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2kg
    chicken boneless, boiled and shredded
  • 1/2tbsp
    salt
  • 1/2tbsp
    red chilli powder
  • 1tsp
    red chilli flakes
  • 1/2tbsp
    cumin powder
  • 1tbsp
    paprika
  • 1tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1tsp
    dried oregano
  • 2tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/2cup
    water
  • 4tbsp
    mayonnaise

For garlic butter

  • 1/3cup
    melted butter
  • 1tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1tsp
    dried or fresh chopped parsley
  • 1tsp
    paprika powder

To assemble

  • 8piece
    buns
  • 8piece
    cheese slices
  • Chicken fajita filling
  • 1cup
    shredded cheese
  • hot sauce
  • garlic butter

How to make Cheesy Chicken Fajita Slider

Prepare chicken fajita filling

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic paste, onion, and all bell peppers. Fry for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Add chicken, dry spices, and tomato paste. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring continuously.

  3. Add water and mayonnaise. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. Set aside.

Prepare garlic butter

  1. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and paprika powder together.

Assemble sliders

  1. In a baking dish, place the bottoms of the buns.

  2. Put cheese slices on the buns, top with chicken fajita filling, pour some hot sauce, and add shredded cheese.

  3. Cover with the top of the buns.

  4. Brush garlic butter on top of the buns.

  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 7-10 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Tips & Tricks

  1. You can adjust the amount of hot sauce according to your spice preference.

  2. For a crispier top, broil the sliders for an additional 1-2 minutes after baking.
