For Chicken Masala

  • 3/4cup
    Cooking oil
  • 2piece
    Onion, sliced
  • 600g
    Chicken, boneless
  • 1tbsp
    Ginger garlic paste
  • 1tbsp
    Coriander powder
  • 1tsp
    Cumin seeds
  • 1tsp
    Salt
  • 1tsp
    Red chili powder
  • 1/2tsp
    Turmeric powder
  • 1tbsp
    Green chili, crushed

    Tomatoes, sliced

    Yogurt, whisked

For Spaghetti

How to make Chatpata Chicken Khaowsuey

Prepare Baisan Curry

  1. Combine ginger, garlic, curry leaves, green chili, cumin seed, turmeric, yogurt, coconut milk, baisan, and water in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Heat oil, add curry leaves, then add the baisan mixture and water. Let it boil, then cover partially and cook for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt, mix, and set aside.

Prepare Chicken Masala

  1. Heat oil and fry onions until translucent.

  2. Add chicken and fry until the color changes.

  3. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.

  4. Add dry spices and mix well for 2 minutes.

  5. Add crushed green chili and tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes soften.

  6. Add yogurt, mix well, then add garam masala, mix well, cover partially, and cook on low flame for 15 minutes. Set aside.

Prepare Spaghetti

  1. Boil water, add salt and spaghetti, and boil until done. Strain.

Assemble

  1. Dish out spaghetti, pour baisan curry, top with chicken masala.

  2. Garnish with slims, coriander leaves, crushed red chili, fried garlic, fried onion, chaat masala, and lemon juice.
