Honey cupcake are delectable dessert known for its rich, moist, and sweet flavors. It is a popular delicacy enjoyed in various cultures around the world.
The cupcakes are typically soft and dense in texture with a tender crumb.
Honey Cupcakes is a delightful treat that combines the natural sweetness of honey with the fruity goodness of jam and shredded coconut on the top. It is perfect for special occasions, afternoon tea parties, or whenever you crave a flavorful and visually appealing dessert.
- 230gCastor Sugar
- 1tspVanilla Essence
- 330gMaida/ All Purpose Flour
- 1/4tspBaking Soda
- 1tspBaking Powder
For Honey Mixture
For Jam Mixture
- 1/2cupStrawberry Jam
- 3tbsp- 4 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
In a bowl add curd, sugar, oil n vanilla essence. Beat well.
Sieve All Purpose Flour, Baking Powder and Baking Soda.
Add Dry Ingredients to the Wet Ingredients. Mix gently. Do not Over Mix.
Pour in the Cupcake mould n Tap Gently.
Bake in the Preheated Oven for 30-35 minutes at 170C.
Cool the cake completely. Poke the cake with stick to make holes in it. Keep aside.
Dissolve sugar in water. Boil it for 2 minutes or till the sugar dissolves completely.
When sugar syrup is warm add in the honey. Mix well.
Cool it and pour it over the cake and allow to seep into the cake. Keep aside.
Prepare the jam mixture by taking strawberry jam and add honey to it in a pan, mix well.
Now spread generous amount of jam on cupcakes.
Sprinkle desiccated coconut on the top.
Keep it in the fridge for half an hour.
Tips & Tricks
For making cake use 6” or 7” pan.
Enjoy these cupcakes with any flavoured ice cream.
