- 5piecedried or fresh butterfly pea flowers
- sugar or honey to taste

How to make Butterfly Pea Flower Tea
Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a pot on the stove.
Add 5-7 butterfly pea flowers to the boiling water.
Boil the flowers for 2-3 minutes until the water turns blue.
Turn off the stove and strain the tea into a cup.
Mix in sugar or honey to taste, and a pinch of salt if desired.
Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, which will change the tea’s color to purple.
