Delicious and savory momo filled with a flavorful mixture of blanched spinach, paneer, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

2 Servings
(1 serving = 10 momos)

Savory Stuffing

  • 250g
    Blanched spinach
  • 100g
    Paneer (Cheese Cottage)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1tsp
    Black Pepper
  • 1tbsp
    Aromat powder or chicken stock cube
  • 2tbsp
    Momo masala
  • 40g
    Unsalted Butter

Green Dough

  • 100g
    Blanched spinach
  • 2cup
    Water
  • 250g
    All-purpose flour

Method

Green Dough Preparation

  1. Blend the blanched spinach with water until it forms a fine paste.

  2. Slowly mix in the all-purpose flour and knead it to make a smooth dough.

  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Assembly

  1. Grind all the savory stuffing ingredients in a mincer to make a fine paste.

  2. Take 15g of dough and roll it into a thin circle of 3 to 4 inches in diameter on a lightly dusted board.

  3. Stuff the dough circle with 22-24g of savory stuffing.

  4. Seal the momo cook as per your preference, such as steaming, frying, or making kothey.
