Vada

  • 1cup
    urad dal
  • 1tsp
    sugar
  • 1tsp
    salt

Curd Mixture

  • 2cups
    curd
  • 1tsp
    chaat masala
  • 1/2tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    sugar
  • 1tsp
    jeera
  • 1tsp
    chilli

How to make Dahi Vade | Dahi Bhalle

Prepare Vada

  1. Soak urad dal in water overnight.

  2. Grind the soaked dal and mix with sugar and salt. Let it rest for 1 hour.

Prepare Curd Mixture

  1. Mix chaat masala, black pepper, salt, sugar, jeera, and mircha into the curd.

Frying and Assembling

  1. Fry the vada until golden brown.

  2. Dip the fried vada in water for 1 minute.

  3. Dip the soaked vada in the curd mixture.

  4. Serve with chutney and namkeen.
