Tikki

  • 1cup
    bread crumbs
  • 2
    boiled potatoes
  • 1/2tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    cumin powder
  • 1tsp
    red chili powder

Curd Mixture

  • 1cup
    curd
  • 1tbsp
    sugar

Assembly

  • 4
    circular bread slices
  • 1/2cup
    tomato chutney
  • 1/2cup
    green chutney
  • 1tsp
    chaat masala

How to make Bread Aloo Chaat

Prepare the Tikki

  1. In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes.

  2. Add bread crumbs, black pepper, salt, cumin powder, and red chili powder to the mashed potatoes.

  3. Mix well and shape the mixture into small patties.

  4. Fry the patties until golden brown and keep them aside.

Prepare the Curd Mixture

  1. In a separate bowl, mix curd with sugar and keep aside.

Assemble the Chaat

  1. Take the circular bread slices and spread tomato chutney or green chutney on them.

  2. Place a fried tikki on each bread slice.

  3. Apply the curd mixture over the tikki.

  4. Sprinkle cumin powder, red chili powder, and chaat masala on top.

  5. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
