    Rice cracker
  • 1
    Canned beans
  • 1
    Onion (small finely chopped )
  • 1
    Tomato (small finely chopped ) Remove seeds before chopping
  • 1/2cup
    cilantro (finely chopped )
  • 1can
    canned tomatoes
  • 2
    Green chillies (optional)
  • 2tbsp
    Maggi hot and sour ketchup
  • 2tsp
    Ginger garlic paste
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    Red chilli powder
  • 2tsp
    Bhuna grounded cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1pinch
    Sugar
  • 1tsp
    Chaat masala

How to make Rice Cracker with Beans

  1. Strain and wash canned beans with fresh water.

  2. Heat oil in a pan (you can take any oil of your choice).

  3. Add ginger garlic paste to the oil. Roast it a little bit, till it turns light brown then add a half can of diced tomatoes.

  4. Add all the spices along with the Maggi ketchup.

  5. Mash the beans a little bit and add to the mixture. Give a stir and cook for another two minutes on medium flame and take off from the stove.

  6. In another bowl add chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, cilantro and green chillies. Add chaat masala to this mixture.

  7. For plating - Take a rice cracker. Put the cooked beans on it then put the onion-tomato mixture on it. Garnish it with cilantro.

  1. While adding salt to the beans, please consider if the crackers are with salt or plain ones, also keep I'm mind that Maggi ketchup has already salt in it.

  2. Also, we can use any type of beans or we can use home boiled beans or even we can replace it with garbanzo beans.
