Enjoy these fun and delicious bite-sized cheeseburgers with a crispy tater tot twist!

(1 serving = 1 mini cheeseburger)
  • 1lb
    ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2tsp
    onion powder
  • 24piece
    tater tots, cooked and crispy
  • 6
    slice cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • 12piece
    small pickle slices
  • 6piece
    cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1piece
    Lettuce leaves, cut into small
  • Mayonnaise, for serving
  • Ketchup, for serving
  • Toothpicks, for assembly

How to make Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers 🍔🧀

Prepare the Beef Patties

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  2. Mix well and form into small patties, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cook the Beef Patties

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Cook the mini beef patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked.

  3. Place a small square of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

Assemble the Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

  1. Take one tater tot and place a small dollop of mayonnaise on top.

  2. Add a piece of lettuce, followed by a cheeseburger patty.

  3. Top with a slice of cherry tomato and a pickle slice.

  4. Place another tater tot on top to complete the mini burger.

  5. Secure the layers with a toothpick.


  1. Arrange the mini tater tot cheeseburgers on a serving platter.

  2. Serve with ketchup and additional mayonnaise on the side for dipping.
