Ingredients
- 1lbground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2tspgarlic powder
- 1/2tsponion powder
- 24piecetater tots, cooked and crispy
- 6slice cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
- 12piecesmall pickle slices
- 6piececherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1pieceLettuce leaves, cut into small
- Mayonnaise, for serving
- Ketchup, for serving
- Toothpicks, for assembly
How to make Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers ππ§
Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Mix well and form into small patties, about 1 inch in diameter.
Cook the Beef Patties
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the mini beef patties for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked.
Place a small square of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
Assemble the Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers
Take one tater tot and place a small dollop of mayonnaise on top.
Add a piece of lettuce, followed by a cheeseburger patty.
Top with a slice of cherry tomato and a pickle slice.
Place another tater tot on top to complete the mini burger.
Secure the layers with a toothpick.
Serve
Arrange the mini tater tot cheeseburgers on a serving platter.
Serve with ketchup and additional mayonnaise on the side for dipping.
Tips & Tricks
Make sure the tater tots are crispy to add a nice texture to the mini burgers.
You can prepare the beef patties ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator until ready to cook.
