Sauce

  • 1cup
    Water
  • 1/2cup
    Soy Sauce
  • 2tbsp
    Mirin
  • 2tsp

    Brown Sugar
  • Fresh Ginger, grated
  • 2tbsp
    Corn Starch

Chicken

  • 1lb
    Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thigh
  • 2tbsp
    Cooking Oil
  • Scallions, chopped
  • Toasted White Sesame Seeds

How to make Teriyaki Chicken

Prepare the Sauce

  1. Combine water, soy sauce, mirin, honey, brown sugar, fresh ginger, and corn starch. Stir well to break up any corn starch lumps.

Marinate the Chicken

  1. Cut boneless, skinless chicken thigh into thin strips. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the teriyaki sauce mixture onto the chicken. Stir to coat the chicken in the sauce.

Tips & Tricks
