    Heavy Cream

  • 1/4cup
    Dried Parsley
  • Salt and Pepper

How to make Spaghetti Carbonara

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package directions.

  2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the pancetta. Cook the pancetta until it is crispy, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.

  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  5. When the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the skillet with the pancetta, onion, and garlic. Stir to combine.

  6. Pour the egg mixture over the spaghetti and stir to combine. Cook until the eggs are cooked through, about 1 minute.

  7. Serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a creamier texture, reserve some pasta water and add it to the pasta when mixing with the egg mixture.

  2. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
