  • 30mL
    olive oil
  • 100g
    white onion
  • 50g
    garlic, peeled
  • 2g
    chili powder
  • 5g
    paprika
  • 3g
    cumin
  • 2g
    coriander
  • 5g
    oregano
  • 500g
    minced beef
  • 60g
    tomato paste
  • 250mL
    beef or chicken stock
  • 200g
    cheddar cheese
  • 300g
    tomato salsa
  • 200g
    iceberg lettuce
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to make Spicy Beef Tacos

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped white onion and cook until translucent.

  3. Add the peeled garlic and cook for another minute.

  4. Stir in the chili powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, and oregano.

  5. Add the minced beef and cook until browned.

  6. Mix in the tomato paste and cook for a few minutes.

  7. Pour in the beef or chicken stock and bring to a simmer.

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  9. Simmer for 20 minutes until the mixture thickens.

  10. Serve the beef mixture in taco shells with cheddar cheese, tomato salsa, and iceberg lettuce.
