A traditional Sindhi beef dish with a rich blend of spices and flavors.

  • 1/2kg
    Boneless Beef cubes
  • 3piece
  • 5clove
  • 1in
  • 5piece
    Green chilies
  • 3piece
  • 1bundle
    Fresh Coriander leaves
  • 5cup
  • 1/2cup
    Cooking oil
  • 2in
    Cinnamon stick
  • 1tsp
    Pepper Corn
  • 1tsp
  • 2piece
    Cardamom (black)
  • 3piece
    Cardamom (green)
  • 1tbsp
    Crushed Red chili
  • 2tbsp
    Crushed Coriander seeds
  • 1tbsp
    Crushed Cumin
  • 1tbsp
    Crushed Pomegranate seeds
  • 1tbsp
    Turmeric powder
  • 1tbsp
    Red chili powder
  • 1dash


  1. Dice two medium-sized onions.

  2. Chop 5 to 6 garlic cloves and 4 to 5 green chilies.

  3. Finely chop 1 inch of ginger.

  4. In a pan, add 5 to 6 cups of water, boneless beef, diced onion, garlic, ginger, green chilies, mixed spices, and salt.

  5. Stir occasionally and let it cook until the water reduces to 1 ½ cups.

  6. Separate the beef from the stock and keep the stock for later use.

  7. Chop the separated beef in a chopper for 10 to 15 seconds.

  8. In another pan, heat ½ cup oil and fry 1 thinly sliced onion.

  9. Add the chopped beef and beef stock to the pan, cover, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.

  10. Add diced tomatoes, crushed red chili, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes.

  11. Add crushed pomegranate seeds and green chilies, and cook for another 10 minutes.

  12. Garnish with lemon and ginger before serving.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the beef is tender before chopping.

  2. Adjust the level of spices according to your taste.
