Delicious and chewy chocolate chip cookies made with semi-sweet chocolate chips.

(1 serving = 1 cookie)
  • 2 1/4cup
  • 1/2tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2tsp
  • 3/4cup
    butter, melted
  • 1cup
    brown sugar
  • 1/2cup
    castor sugar
  • 1tbsp
    vanilla essence
  • 1piece
    whole egg
  • 1piece
    egg yolk
  • 1cup
    semi-sweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.

  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside.

  3. Stir butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.

  4. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla essence to the butter and sugar mixture, and stir to combine.

  5. Add chocolate chips and mix until evenly distributed.

  6. Refrigerate dough for 45 minutes.

  7. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.

  8. Roll cookie dough into small balls and place them on the baking sheet.

  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

  10. Best Chocolate Chip Cookies are ready to eat.
