- Here's a simple recipe for traditional South Indian-style idlis:
- *Ingredients:*
- 2cups- idli rice (or short-grain rice)
- 1cup- urad dal (split black gram)
- 1/2cup- fenugreek seeds
- 1/2tsp- salt
- 1/4tsp- baking soda (optional)
- - Water (as needed)
- - Ghee or oil for greasing

- 1. Rinse and soak rice
